Soprano Ukulele from Reclaimed Wood

Soprano Ukulele from Reclaimed Wood

This instrument was made with maple floor boards for the back, sides and neck.  A piece of Douglas fir from a ceiling joist was used for the soundboard.  The bindings and contrasting dark lines in the body and neck are black walnut. The fretboard is rosewood.  The friction pegs are by Waverly and they have koa buttons.

This instrument was featured in the Spring 2014 issue of Ukulele magazine and was also played in the PBS video about my work with reclaimed woods.

Price: $2,500
